For employers and adjusters

Programs on your floor, reports on your desk

A therapist who has watched the job writes better restrictions than one who has only read the title. We come to your site, learn the tasks and give you a written scope before anything starts.

  • A walk-through of the job before we write a word

  • The scope, in writing, before a program begins

  • Reports your safety, HR and claims people can all read

Choose the pieces that fit your shifts

Programs can be ordered one at a time or together. The scope and fee for each come to you in writing first.

On your floor

A therapist visits your site, on days and shifts you choose.

  • Job demands walk-through

We watch the tasks and write down what each one asks of the body.

  • Lift and carry coaching

Small-group coaching on your own totes, carts and pallets.

  • Start-of-shift warm-up

A routine your supervisors can lead, built around that shift's tasks.

  • Early check-ins

A therapist on set days to look at a sore wrist or back early.

In our clinics

At Hutchinson and McPherson, with the same therapist from start to report.

  • Functional testing

A test built from the job, set against what the job asks.

  • Work conditioning

Exercise that rebuilds capacity for the general demands of a job.

  • Work hardening

Practice of the real tasks, in blocks that grow toward a full shift.

On paper

Written work your claims, HR and safety people can use.

  • Job analysis write-ups

The physical demands of a role in plain terms.

  • Return-to-work plans

What a worker can do now and what comes next.

  • Supervisor briefings

A short session on what strain looks like and who to call.

Scope, schedule and fee come to you in writing before a program starts.

What you receive

Four reports, each in plain words

Every report is signed by the physical therapist who worked with the person, and goes only to the people the claim or release allows.

  • Initial report

What we found at the first visit, the doctor's limits and the plan.

  • Progress notes

What the worker did, what changed and what comes next, on the schedule the claim allows.

  • Functional test report

Each task tested, how it went and what the therapist saw.

  • Return-to-work plan

What the worker can do in each role and when the plan is reviewed.

Getting started

How an employer sets up a program

  • 01

    Call or send a message

Tell us the site, the jobs and the shifts. We call back on the next working day.

  • 02

We visit and write the scope

A therapist walks the floor and writes what we would do, how often and what you would receive.

  • 03

    You approve it in writing

Nothing starts until you have read the scope and the fee and said yes.

Who directs care

Tell us who your adjuster is. Your state decides who may direct an injured worker's care, and we confirm who authorizes care before the first visit.

We treat the worker and write the reports. We do not handle the claim, and we do not tell a worker what to say to an adjuster or an employer.

Questions from employers and adjusters

What does my company see about a worker?

The reports the claim or release lets us send: restrictions, progress against the job's tasks and the return-to-work plan. Not the whole chart.

Do you come to us?

Yes, for on-site programs within reach of Hutchinson and McPherson. Ask us about your location.

Can you work with our occupational clinic?

Yes. We send reports to the clinic and the doctor on the claim, and talk to them when a plan changes.

Who pays for an on-site program?

The employer, under a scope you approve in writing first. A worker's treatment is billed to the plan on the claim.
